Who Is Jesus, According to Scripture?
Salvation depends on the answer
Salvation depends on the answer
Scripture does not present Jesus as merely a teacher, prophet, or created being.
He is described as eternal, the creator of all things, worthy of worship, and fully divine.
This matters because only God can bear the full weight of human guilt.
If Jesus is less than God, His sacrifice cannot be sufficient.
If He is God, then His work carries final authority.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… All things were made through Him.”
— John 1:1–3
“For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.”
— Colossians 2:9
