What This Accomplishes

The gospel accomplishes what no other system can.

Justice is satisfied because guilt is paid—which is why Jesus must be more than a moral teacher.

Mercy is real because the payment is made by another.

Guilt is removed, not managed. Assurance is possible because the work is finished.

Nothing is added. Nothing is earned. Nothing remains unpaid—as Scripture describes a finished work.

This is why the gospel is good news—and why Jesus’ identity ultimately matters.
