The Truth Audit
A guided investigation of truth, deception, and the gospel
A guided investigation of truth, deception, and the gospel
Let’s run a truth audit—a logic-based investigation into truth, deception, and salvation.
People disagree about God, religion, and salvation—but truth is not determined by sincerity, tradition, or popularity.
This investigation asks one question:
Does what I believe actually solve the real human problem—guilt, wrongdoing, injustice, suffering, death, and moral responsibility—without contradiction or deception?
Before examining solutions, this investigation asks whether the problem itself has been correctly identified.
This investigation is grounded in a simple observation: beliefs are shaped not only by evidence, but by influence.
In military and intelligence contexts, this is studied formally.
US Military joint doctrine defines psychological operations as: “The planned use of communication and other actions to influence perceptions, attitudes, and behavior in support of objectives.”
This does not mean that every belief system is intentionally deceptive.
It means that ideas can be reinforced over time through authority, tradition, repetition, and social pressure.
The Truth Audit is designed to slow that process down. It asks whether what we believe holds up when examined carefully against evidence and consistency.
Truth does not require insulation from questions.
Deception does.
